To offer you the most flexibility we offer all our courses in various different options. You are bound to find one to match your budget and other requirements!

We offer all of our courses in the following formats:

  • Private/closed at your location
  • In person one on one courses
  • Live remote one on one courses

Public scheduled classroom training

We regularly schedule courses in London, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Birmingham and throughout the country - see individual course pages for details. If demand warrants we will run course in other locations, often at reasonably short notice, so please contact us if you would like to register an interest in us coming to your area.

Likewise, if you cannot find the course subject you are looking for here, it may be that we have the course in development or can point you towards other training providers, so please contact us and let us know if you are interested in other subject areas.

Closed private courses (also known as "private" or "on-site" courses)

If you would like us to deliver training on-site at your location, we can offer this service. If you require training for three or more delegates, you may find this more cost effective than booking a scheduled course. Please contact us if you are interested in us bringing one of our courses on-site to your organisation. The charge for this is £750.00 plus VAT per day, or part thereof, plus expenses (hotel and travel).

In person one on one courses

If you would like us to deliver training personally to you, one on one, at one of our UK locations, we can offer this service. We would still provide the equipment, course materials, and everything else you need. It is just like our standard public course except that we guarantee you will be the only one on the course, and will have the undivided attention of the instructor.

Cost

The charge for a one on one course is £395 plus VAT per day. So for a 2 day course such as our Introduction to SQL course, the cost would be £790 plus VAT. For a 3 day course such as our Developing Web Applications with ASP.NET course, it would be £1185 plus VAT, and so on.

Live remote one on one courses

Enjoy the full and undivided attention of one of our expert instructors without having to leave your home or office.

Using remote video and desktop sharing technology, our instructor will deliver the course to you live over the internet.

This is not a recording, the course will be delivered live, with two way audio allowing you to ask questions, just as you would in a classroom setting. Two way video will allow you to be able to see each other, and you'll both be able to see each other's computer screens too, so the instructor can show you demonstrations and check your exercises when you've done them. You will not have to share the attention of the instructor - you will be the only one being taught.

You'll save on costs too as this is our most cost effective option. Plus you get to avoid the travel and expense.

What do I need?

As a minimum, just a PC with a good internet connection and a built in PC and microphone. You will be able to connect to the training through the Chrome browser, which is free. Ideally your PC will also have a webcam so that the instructor can see you, but this is not essential. If you would like to test the setup in advance of the course (before committing to a booking) let us know and we can arrange this.

You will have the option to access one of our student PCs remotely to do the exercises. If you would prefer to do them on your own PC let us know, and we can send you instructions on how to set it up.

Cost

The charge for a live remote one on one course is £225 plus VAT per day, payable in advance. So for a 2 day course such as our Introduction to SQL course, the cost would be £450 plus VAT. For a 3 day course such as our Developing Web Applications with ASP.NET course, it would be £675 plus VAT, and so on.

FAQs

  • What are the course times?

    • Please arrive for a 9:30am start on the first day of your course. Subsequent days will usually start 30 minutes earlier but check with your instructor. The course will end at around 4:30am each day.

  • Do I need to bring anything?

    • No, everything is provided, you only have to bring yourself.

  • How can I pay?

    • Once you have booked you will receive a confirmation email, and shortly after that, an invoice. For in-person public and private courses the invoice is payable within 30 days, for online courses payment is required 7 days before the start of the course. Payment can be made by bank transfer (BACS etc), cheque or card.

  • Is there a dress code?

    • No, there is no dress code for any of our courses.

  • Are refreshments provided?

    • At our in-person training, mid-morning and mid-afternoon refreshments will be provided. Lunch is not provided but all our venues are in central locations.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    • Cancellations received within 7 days of making your booking or more than 21 days before the scheduled start date will not incur any charge. For cancellations received between 7 and 21 days before the scheduled start date a 50 percent charge will apply. For cancellations received less than 7 days before the scheduled start date a 100 percent charge will apply. For online courses where you have already been sent course materials, any refund is conditional on the return of the materials at your own expense.
