Consultancy and floor walking

Consultancy

Our consultancy service offers you the chance to have one of our top quality technical instructors working on one of your projects, providing the expertise to help your staff pick up the required skills, and/or adding a vital additional resource at crucial times in your project’s lifecycle such as the early scoping/requirements gathering stage, the mid-project “heavy lifting”, or the end of project “last minute deadline panic”!

Our instructor/consultants have vast commercial experience in real world developing, each has worked for at least 10 years doing a “real” job before they started teaching, and have continued to take on small projects even since they became instructors.

Whilst Impartica Consulting is a new venture, our instructor/consultants have worked in previous roles for the likes of HSBC, Santander, the MoD and Oracle.

Floor Walking

Floor walking is a method of post-training support, whereby your instructor will spend time at your office, literally walking the floor, responding to your staff’s individual queries, assisting them with problems, and helping them to apply the training they have received to their day-today job.

This has the advantage that your staff will not only have their problems fixed, but they will see first-hand how and why a certain solution is applicable. The instructor will relate back to the training they have had, and help them to get quickly to a stage where they can fix their own problems.

Floor walking is primarily designed to take place shortly after training, and would usually only last 1 or 2 days. Longer arrangements can also be mage though.

Costs

Both consulting and floor walking are both competitively priced at £595 per day plus VAT.

Customers who purchase any of our training courses are entitled to the same number of days consultancy or floor walking at half of this usual price.
